Window Display Contest
NEW to Fairhaven this year! The Historic Fairhaven Association has partnered with Sustainable Connections' “Buy Local for the Holidays” program to ask for your vote of most festive windows in Fairhaven. Window displays created by participating local businesses will be voted on by the public, Mayor of Bellingham, and surrounding business owners to win the heart of the community. Visit Sustainable Connections for more information and how to vote.
Write a letter to Father Christmas
Children will be able to leave letters for Father Christmas in the classic Victorian mailbox located on the Village Green stage with the forest of trees. Father Christmas's "Fairhaven Elves" will spirit the letters away for his perusal – but we hear they will sometimes sneak photos of the envelopes before delivering them, and they will share these on the Historic Fairhaven Facebook page – so be sure to keep watch!
