How to get to Fairhaven

 

Fairhaven is located in the south of Bellingham, WA, and can be conveniently accessed via car, bus, train, air and the Alaska Ferry. 

 
 

BY CAR

From I-5 take exit 250, sign posted Old Fairhaven Pkwy/Chuckanut Drive. Proceed west on Old Fairhaven Pkwy for approximately 1.4 miles. Street parking is available around the village green between 10th and 12th Street.

AMTRAK & GREYHOUND

Fairhaven is very conveniently located for the train or bus. Both Amtrak and Greyhound are located at 401 Harris Ave, next to the ferry terminal which is a 10-minute walk or two minutes by taxi to/from the center of Fairhaven.

BELLINGHAM AIRPORT

Bellingham International Airport (BLI) is located at 4255 Mitchell Way, Bellingham, WA 98226. A taxi ride between the airport and Fairhaven takes about 20 minutes and costs between $20 and $30.

ALASKA FERRY

The ferry between Bellingham, WA, and Alaska arrives and leaves every Friday. The ferry terminal is located at 355 Harris Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225, right next to the train and bus station.

LOCAL BUS SERVICE

The Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) offers an excellent local bus service. Bus stops in Fairhaven include the Transportation Center and in front of Haggen's 24-hour grocery store on 12th Street.
